Creating Is My Constant: The Love That Fuels Me
C Small Designs began with a spark—a quiet, persistent love for creating. What started as a way to ground myself, to play with color, shape, and texture, soon became something deeper. Making jewelry was my first outlet—each piece was like a little sculpture I could wear, a way to carry a bit of art with me. Every necklace, every earring told its own story—one-of-a-kind, just like the people who would one day wear them.
But creativity doesn’t like to stay in one lane. As I continued to create, my hands naturally reached for other materials—paint, clay, and canvas. I began painting with the same instinct I had when shaping a piece of jewelry: intuitively, with emotion and intention. From there came prints, and then ceramics—each medium offering a new way to express a feeling, a mood, a moment.
That’s how C Small Designs grew—not just as a jewelry line, but as a collection of everything I love to create. It’s a reflection of my belief that art should live in all parts of life: worn, hung, held, gifted, and cherished.
At its heart, this is a space for meaningful pieces—handmade, imperfect in the most beautiful way, and always made with love.
My experience
Art has always been a thread running through my life,
always there, guiding me in unexpected ways.
I began with a BA in Graphic Design, drawn to the power of visuals to tell a story, to move people without saying a word. That foundation taught me the language of design—balance, form, color—and gave me the tools to translate ideas into something tangible. But the more I learned, the more I realized that creating wasn’t just a career path for me—it was a way of beginning of something more.
That realization led me to pursue a Master’s in Education, where I combined my passion for art with the joy of teaching. For years, I had the privilege of guiding students through their own creative journeys, watching them light up when they discovered their voice through paint, clay, or pencil. Alongside teaching, I began painting murals—first in schools, then in homes and offices—bringing life to blank walls and joy to the spaces people lived and worked in. There’s something magical about transforming a space with art that feels personal and alive.
Over time, my hands began to reach for new materials. I started experimenting with jewelry—tiny, wearable artworks that carried meaning and individuality. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into something more. People connected with the uniqueness of each piece, just as they had with the murals and paintings.
That’s when C Small Designs was born—a creative outlet that brings all of my work under one roof. It’s a space for everything I love to make: one-of-a-kind jewelry, expressive paintings, thoughtful prints, earthy ceramics, and even curated fashion finds that speak to the same spirit of individuality and artistry.
